United Bank is a major sponsor of West Virginia University Athletics and television commercial was produced run during the 2010 college basketball season.
All of the footage was shot on location at the West Virginia University Coliseum. The scenes were with dramatic light in an empty arena. The concept was to build a sense of both nostalgia and anticipation in the viewer. By showing beautiful footage of the basketball court, the locker room, and the stadium the imagination is filled with good times spent with family and friends and the good times to come. We feel this television commercial truly captures the spirit and passion of West Virginia basketball.
