FIRST 2010 Kick Off
Gifted youth, remote-controlled robots, intense competition… gear up baby, it’s FIRST 2010! This video production was played at the kick off event of the 2010 FIRST Robotics competition season and was also played at the opening ceremonies at regional competitions all over the United States and beyond.
FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) was founded by inventor Dean Kamen to inspire young people’s interest and participation in science and technology. Based in Manchester, New Hampshire, FIRST is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit public charity.
As a volunteer-driven organization, FIRST is built on partnerships with individuals as well as businesses, educational institutions, and government. Some of the world’s most respected companies provide funding, mentorship time and talent, and equipment to make FIRST’s mission a reality.
