Testimonials are best when they are unscripted and prompted by a love for the organization, product or service. These fall into our "unscripted" script categories. We can control most of the variables that will effect the production quality, and our level of planning and discretion for the questions will handle the human element.
Sometimes a video will call for a script. Think of your script as the master plan for the project. It's much more than just the voice-track for the narrator. A proper script will also provide both general and specific details for the type of shots required. There's virtually no way to estimate either the budget or the timeline without a well-developed script.
We welcome (and are depending on!) not only your input, but your intimate cooperation in getting the script just right. You also specify the people you want to have interviewed.
Even when we do "unscripted" work (see some of our projects), there's still a script. It details the type of questions we'll be asking and the type of shots we'll need to plan. These unscripted projects are some of our most powerful and compelling work. Just because the dialogue isn't scripted doesn't mean that there isn't meticulous planning involved to draw the story out of the participants.
We want your production to depict you at your best. We promise not to do it any other way. In fact, we'll simply refuse to do any project that we can't work on with full confidence. That's right, if you insist on producing a project that we don't think will work, we'll politely bow out. Remember, both of our reputations are riding on this!
